Rasmus Hojlund’s Medical and Transfer Finalization

According to The Athletic, Rasmus Hojlund is expected to travel to Manchester for a medical evaluation before officially joining Manchester United. The deal with Atalanta has been agreed upon, amounting to an initial £65 million with an additional £8 million in add-ons.

Adding Hojlund to Erik ten Hag’s squad will strengthen Manchester United’s attacking prowess, providing much-needed support to Marcus Rashford, who scored 30 goals the last season.

Despite United’s significant pre-season spending, manager Ten Hag remains cautious about making title predictions. He believes the focus should be competing for the top four positions and gradually aiming higher.

“I think in pre-season, we shouldn’t talk about that. Any other club must first compete for the first four positions, and then after that, the first two, and then maybe you can see about getting yourself into such a position. But don’t talk about that achievement.”

Manchester United is on the verge of securing an exciting deal with Rasmus Hojlund from Atalanta. The £73 million transfer fee shows the club’s commitment to bolstering their attacking options.

As the Red Devils gear up for the new season, manager Erik ten Hag remains pragmatic, emphasizing the importance of gradual progress in pursuing success.
